Dear AOPA Member:

I would like to personally thank each of you, our members, for making 1998 a productive year for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA). This year, we feel a strong need to offer you more useful products and services. We will continue initiatives that were started last year while developing new services and products to lead the O&P profession in to the next millenium. We are doing all of these things to bring AOPA closer to its members and foster a truly productive relationship between you and your trade association.

Government relations is our number one job. AOPA will continue to promote its government relations initiatives to improve governmental policies and achieve positive benefits for the O&P field. We will work diligently to enhance business education efforts that meet the needs of O&P businesses. In addition, we will provide our members with technologically advanced services via AOPAs new web site.

1999 promises to be another year of big challenges for O&P. As we approach the new millenium, AOPA is strong and moving in the right direction. I am confident that with your help, AOPA will remain the voice for the O&P field.

Sincerely,
